Open International University of Human Development “Ukraine” (University “Ukraine”) is one of the largest private universities in Ukraine. It was founded in 1998 in Kyiv and has a network of institutes, branches and colleges in many regions of the country.
The Kyiv university teaches at seven institutes: Economics and Management; Law and Social Relations; Philology and Mass Communications; Social Technologies; Computer Technologies; the Engineering and Technological Institute; and Biomedical Technologies. Programmes range from IT, law, management and psychology to design, journalism, tourism, food and chemical technology, physical therapy and pharmacy.
The university is known for practical training, cooperation with employers, flexible study formats including distance learning, and inclusive education for students with disabilities. Programmes for international students are taught in Ukrainian; a preparatory department teaches the language first.
International students apply with their education document, passport and photo to receive an invitation to study, then apply for a study visa. Students who do not yet speak Ukrainian can start at the university’s preparatory department.
We help you with every step.
The university offers accommodation in student dormitories in Kyiv.
