Transfer Students

Universities in Ukraine accept qualified transfer students from other universities. Students who want to transfer their credit hours to Ukraine must submit the following originals upon arrival:

These documents are submitted to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for recognition, to calculate the academic difference and the credit hours. If the previous studies are found equivalent to the Ukrainian curriculum, the student can join the desired year; otherwise the student follows the recommendations of the Ministry — for example, passing the missing subjects.

Send us your transcripts by email first. The originals must be legalized (or apostilled) in your country. Universities in Ukraine work on a semester system, and admission is based on your overall academic record; some programs are very competitive. ISS Company assists applicants throughout the procedure for an agreed service charge.

Living & Accommodation

University accommodation (hostels)

University hostels are a cheap and good option for new students. There are usually two types of hostels:

Excellent renovation

All the facilities you need to live comfortably — single, double or triple rooms.

Ordinary renovation

Basic facilities at a lower price — double or triple rooms.

Private housing & accommodation

If you prefer more privacy, you can rent a room in a shared flat, a private flat for one or two persons, or a modern apartment. Prices depend on the city, the location, the size of the flat and the lease conditions — we help you find a suitable flat and check the contract.

Living cost for international students

Living costs in Ukraine are low compared to other European countries. A typical monthly budget includes:

Transport

Trams, trolleybuses, buses and metro are very cheap; intercity trains and buses are affordable.

Food & grocery

Bread, milk, fruit, meat and cheese at low prices in supermarkets and markets.

Cafés & restaurants

Coffee, fast food and restaurant meals at affordable prices.

Entertainment

Cinemas, theatres, swimming pools and sports clubs, often with student discounts.

Ask us for the current prices in your city — they change with the season, the city and the exchange rate.
