What is a permanent residence permit?
A permanent residence permit gives a foreign citizen the right to live in Ukraine permanently. Permanent residents enjoy rights and privileges similar to those of Ukrainian citizens — with the exception of voting and some state positions — and they keep their original citizenship.
To receive the permit, you first need an immigration permit — the official decision that allows you to immigrate to Ukraine. With your immigration permit, you then apply for the permanent residence card.
