The National University of Food Technologies (NUFT) is a state university in Kyiv and the leading specialised university in Ukraine for the food, processing, biotechnology and related industries. Founded in 1884, it combines classical engineering education with modern research, innovation and close cooperation with food industry enterprises.
Over more than a century NUFT has become a key scientific and educational centre in food technology, bioengineering, automation and economics; its graduates work in leading companies in Ukraine and abroad. Today its educational complex includes 3 educational and scientific institutes, 3 faculties, 2 institutes of postgraduate education, 3 branches and 11 colleges, with about 6,300 students and 24 specialities.
More than 200 international students study at NUFT’s preparatory department and in its degree programmes, which are taught in Ukrainian.
