The Lviv National Academy of Arts (LNAA) is a state arts academy of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine and one of the leading institutions of higher art education in the country. Founded in 1946, it trains specialists in fine, decorative and applied arts, design and restoration, and has formed strong art schools known far beyond Ukraine.
Today the Academy combines classical artistic traditions with modern creative approaches and international educational practice. Its faculties of Fine Arts and Restoration, Decorative and Applied Arts, Design, and History and Theory of Art offer programmes from monumental painting, sculpture and sacral art to art glass, ceramics, textiles, metal and wood, graphic, environmental and costume design, art history and art management. Ukrainian and international students study here, and graduates work as artists, designers, restorers and art teachers.
International students apply for an invitation to study with their education document, passport and photo. Admission includes a creative competition in the chosen speciality.
