Kyiv Medical University (KMU) is one of Ukraine’s leading private medical universities. It was founded in 1992 and trains doctors, dentists, pharmacists, nurses, psychologists and healthcare managers.
About 35% of KMU’s students are international students from more than 60 countries. Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy are taught in English and in Ukrainian. Clinical training takes place at 14 clinical departments based in leading public and private hospitals of Kyiv, and the university has its own dental clinic and a Center for Simulation Training and Assessment.
Besides the main campus in Kyiv, KMU has institutes in Kharkiv and Dnipro and a Polish campus, and offers clinical practice in Poland.
International students apply online with their school certificate, passport and photo, receive an invitation to study and then apply for a study visa. Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy are integrated Master’s programmes taught in English or Ukrainian.
