Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts (KNUKiM) is a state university in Kyiv for the creative industries. Its history began in 1968, and today it trains film and television directors, camera operators, actors, sound producers, photographers, designers, choreographers, singers and musicians, as well as event managers, journalists and information specialists.
The university’s faculties include Film and Television; Theatre, Film and Variety; Choreographic Arts; Musical Arts; Design and Advertising; PR, Journalism and Information Policy; and Management and Creative Industries. Students take part in concerts, performances, film projects and festivals throughout their studies.
Programmes are taught in Ukrainian. Admission to creative programmes includes a creative competition.
Applicants send their education document, passport and photo to receive an invitation to study, then apply for a study visa. Admission to most programmes includes a creative competition (audition or portfolio).
