Poltava University of Economics and Trade (PUET) is a private, non-profit university in Poltava, in central Ukraine. Its history goes back to 1961, and in 2026 the university celebrates its 65th anniversary.
PUET trains specialists in economics, management and business administration, marketing, finance, accounting, trade, information technology, law, philology, hotel and restaurant business, tourism and food technology. More than 300 international students from about 20 countries have chosen PUET.
For international students, Management, Business Administration, International Economic Relations, Computer Science and Food Technology programmes are taught in English. All other programmes are taught in Ukrainian; a 10-month preparatory (foundation) course is available for students who first need to learn the language.
Intakes for international students: applications until 1 November and until 1 March.

PUET has its own sports complex, a recording studio, a student theatre and an active student self-government. Students live in 4 dormitories located on the university campus, with internet access in the rooms.
